VFW Post #7972
Project: Phase One (1) of the VFW Post # 7972 Operation Move and Grove is complete. A total of approximately 541 hours of donated time, $5k in grants and $5k in donations from the community all made this project possible. We removed VCT tile and carpet from the club room, cleaned the kitchen and small bathroom linoleum, sanded the exposed concrete floor, applied Coval sealant with stain to the sanded areas and medium grey acrylic pigment to the linoleum.
The Ransom VFW has been an all-state post 33 times, the most in the state of Kansas. Making these updates will ensure that this VFW can continue to serve Veterans in the local area and the community where they reside.
A special THANK YOU to the following people and companies for the incredible donations, of which made this operation possible:
Western Coop Electric for their $5000 grant dedicated to this project
Kevin Ormsbey with Coval Technologies for the $4,000 donation and week of service to working on this project

The $250 donation in honor of Wayne Nuttle, Dudley Nuttle, Bob Nuttle, Eugene Nuttle, and Bruce Everhart
